2025 e'Stellar Pinot Noir

This Pinot Noir opens with aromas of ripe strawberry and raspberry, layered with orange rind, a whole-bunch herbal lift and a hint of Campari. Subtle notes of cocoa powder and toasty oak sit beneath the fruit.

The palate is soft, round and elegantly poised, with flavours of red cherry, cranberry, rose petal and a gentle bergamot note. Fine, chalky tannins and bright acidity bring freshness and balance, finishing lifted and long. A refined expression of Yarra Valley Pinot Noir.

WINEMAKING

The fruit for this Pinot Noir was picked in two lots, two weeks apart. The first was harvested early in the season and 100% destemmed; the second, picked later, was 100% whole bunch. The blend brings complexity, resulting in a wine that is both fruit-driven and savoury.

The wine was matured in French oak (25% new) for ten months before bottling unfiltered. Made entirely from MV6 clone Pinot Noir.
