2024 e'Stellar Pinot Noir

“A Yarra Pinot with an Italian accent.”

There’s a warm perfume to this Pinot Noir. The nose opens with notes of bresaola, toasted fennel seed, and Campari — intriguingly Italian flavours for a French grape grown in the Yarra Valley.

The palate is soft and elegant, showing ruby grapefruit, blood orange, and pink peppercorn, finishing with fine, chalky tannins.

WINEMAKING

The fruit for this Pinot Noir was picked in two lots, two weeks apart. The first was harvested early in the season and 100% de-stemmed; the second, picked later, was 100% whole bunch.

The blend of the two brings real complexity — the wine is both fruit-driven and savoury. It was matured in French oak (25% new) for 10 months.

Made from 100% MV6 clone of Pinot Noir.
