The palate is tight and focused, with flavours of green apple and stone fruit framed by a fine line of acidity that drives length and precision. A light touch of French oak supports the structure, leading to a long, savoury and composed finish, making this a serious, age-worthy expression of Yarra Valley Chardonnay.\n\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch6\u003eWINEMAKING\u003c\/h6\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe fruit for our Chardonnay was hand picked from the lower section of our North facing D1 block, planted to old-vine P58 clone Chardonnay. After pressing, the cloudy juice was wild fermented in barrel before maturing on lees in French oak (30% new) for 10 months.
